oh wow! This is such an awesome story! I loved how you began it, with the dark making a boy like him nervous; there was some kind of mysterious, sad feel to it. I feel so sorry for both Bill and Tom, both of them slaves to the same and to different things. This was really lovely, and for a fic that is not lengthy, you caught the essence of their lives very well in few words! *applauds*

yes yes, that means I'm in love with this. I love the word usage, the way you played with them so that they gave enough information to make the scene vague and yet still vivid, and I absolutely adored the way Bill's job was demeaned and yet pulled up in the same abrupt paragraphs. This was amazing

Author's Response: Thank you~ It took a lot of work to worm this story out of what my inspiration was. I like to write song fics, and this was one of them. I used the song Medicate by AFI, so you can tell me if you think I got the feel right.
