It's an awful spot to be in, all three. And the only one who has no clue is Ella, but I have a feeling that her line of questioning comes from her thinking. Kids aren't stupid and they never miss anything. It may turn out that Ella may suspect enough and hence the questions.
I don't even know how they could possibly fix this, but Bill needs to let Bushido in on what's going on before things start to be misunderstood. I mean, they can all work out an arrangement where Tom is even invited into their home just so he could spend more time with Ella, but there needs to be trust between all three of them and frankly, Bill and Tom need to deal with each other, their past and try to find a resolution so that each visit is not that hard on them.
Ugh, this makes me feel for them! ;___;

I hope Ella likes the idea of Tom as her dad if/when she does find out. I think they'd be a super team, them being so alike.
I hope Bill gets the courage soon to face Tom's parents when the time comes, because he owes them that much.
I hope Bill and Tom find the chance to forgive themselves for their fallout and learn to get along again, for Ella's sake if nothing else.
I don't wish to break up Bill's marriage, of course, but I hope him and Tom are 100% there's no more feelings between them because that would be the hardest thing for them to do, being a part of each other's life because of Ella and both know what they gave up in each other.
