I'm an artist too (even though I'm more into watercolor and acrylic) and this story really got to me. I read it a while back when I was still only working with graphite and charcoal and I didn't really get the color names or any of the other stuff. I thought they were so weird and fantastical. I actually thought of this story when I began putting together my palette and I wanted to read it again so much. Now I finally rediscovered it!!!! Yay!!! :D :D :D It's so going on my favorites.
