This chapter was intense! With Florence and James and...poor Bill. :( His life is totally sucking right now with everything he has to deal with!

You rally grabbed my attention with this. Very well written and very believable! =o A little tough to take in with the first few chapters though. I had trouble with Bill's personality but it eventually fell into place.

I think it was around when if fell into place with Tom. I got used to it. XD Very clever ideas here. I totally didn't expect you to make them related in a way. XD Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next chapter. =]

Finally! i'm done with this chapter. Rather scary...The atmosphere is so intense in it that i almost felt every emotion tom shows.Ava isn't stupid either,but i think i'm not too interested in her,fortunately you didn't make her ultra clever and nosy i'd hate her the most lol.
Now,with the logic if i followed everything well. Tom's grandpa knows too. But when he was young, tom didn't exist because simone was only a child so the photos didn't made too much sense.He knew then that his uncle were gay.Maybe james kept preciously his diary and other of his possessions till he trespassed?But,when tom started to look like more and more like the boy on the picture in his(grandpa's)father's diary didn't it make a buzz in his head? Or he forgot those old pictures as time passed by and tom grew up?(maybe he told himself that tom reminded him of someone but he couldn't put a finger on it?)
Or another possible way,he simply never read his father's diary, or jusT flipped the pages and never saw the pictures hidden in them. He just saw that as his father's diary when he was a child and kept it as a precious memory.
As for the teddy bear,if i were tom i'd surely cry like a baby just seeing it torn and old like that. It would remind me of bill's death(even if he isn't but the fear and uncertainty of everything is still there.he might question himself
what if his plan on making bill live in the future didn't work and he was dead?)but of course you and i do know the truth! huhuh!!
If tom kept on reading that journal, he'd read things that happened that he didn't do yet. ugh,no.No spoilers for him lol he has to work that out by himself and follow his instinct and heart(why do i sound like an old master in a random kung-fu movie? XD)
Because if he followed what was written in that journal(just for example) it would look like he followed a recipe for cooking. "then i did that, james says. I came back and i fucked bill senseless...*cough* pardon me, they don't fuck,they make love tenderly!
Or the better solution, there are some missing pages in that journal and tom end up having no clue of what happened after james discovered the secret of where tom really come from.Or he would just read more few pages,and it would talk about james and bill's summer so he knows what bill was doing while he's stuck up at his grandparents house. But james would stop writting after that and to find out what happens next the summer, he just has to return back in the 1900's when his summer vacation's other. In short,he make up the story!

Meanwhile, Bill's summer was not lacking of action either? Let's say, his mother obliging him to spend some time with his
future wife. Going to picnic and horse ride? They would have fun'cause their good friends.The family would think that it was such a good idea, that they were meant to be together if they get along so well...In truth, bill would talk about his lover to his friend,oops future wife XD! She would do the same. They'd fool everyone till the day bill disappears. He'd not tell her where he'd go...

I have to stop guessing and speculating about it ...I have many many crazy theories. And yet i already want to know,how bill would manage in this century? People living in farms in the country in our century are lost when in town so bill who come from another time...Or the ending will suggest that he will be fine? How about school? Georg and tom will teach him elementary things about technology? Microwaaaaave! lol
Where would he live? What would simone say?What about his ID card?(i'm taking it too far aren't i? It's a fiction for christ's sake!

Author's Response: Oh, now there's a LONG review. XD Lol, yeah I just wanted Ava to be a normal little sibling. She's just kinda there as a side character... I don't really care much for her either (and I'm the one who created her!) Wow, you're really thinking into this, aren't you? Well... what if Tom's grandpa isn't too right in the head anymore? You know old grandparents, they have a tendency to forget things sometimes... what if he has Alzheimer's? Oooh, the plot thickens. XDD Or maybe he just never found James' diary? I'm sure my parents have boxes of things of their parents that they still haven't completely touched. As for the journal... OMG GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!!!!! I swear, some of this later stuff I put in here is so damn close to what you're suggesting that it's gonna look like I mooched off ideas from your reviews!! ^_^ Seriously, get out of my head. And Bill's summer.. it's not lacking action either. There's a bit with his "future wife" (Florence) in the upcoming chapter that I'm planning to include. But it's not what you think (yay, I get to surprise you!)... they're not telling each other about their lovers. Bill wouldn't dare share Tom with people in his time, esp Florence of all people. And Florence... well... she's getting attached. As for school nowadays... people make it in the world without it (and with Tomi to show him the ropes, Bill can easily survive under Tomi's wing... ^_^). Microwave, yes. That's the most important cooking utensil we have, isn't it? It's like the ONLY way I know how to cook things... microwavable meals and hot pockets and easy mac... yeah, I'm a great cook. XD And I'm still deciding on where Bill would live if he were in the future. As for his ID card... shhhh!!! I don't care about that sorta stuff. This is fiction, let's say no one has ID cards, ok? I mean, he couldn't exactly get a real one... anywhere he'd get one it'd have to be fake - they have no birth certificate for him, do they? No. How would you explain someone not having any proof of birth? They just popped up into this century out of thin air? Yeah... won't work so well, will it? XD Gahh, I still have kinks to work out in this story line before it can be called "finished" .. and I may seriously cry when I finish it.... :(
