not sure how I feel about this society. Or any society to do w/ people of the past. they all had not so nice things in their cultures that I don't really want ot remember. still, it's good to know.
I can't believe they did it finally. I was hoping for the other way around but I'm satisfied for now. I hope this helps Bill open up a bit more.
Author's Response: Every culture, whether it be past or present, had/has their not so nice things. The problem is with the Norsemen is people forget the average person, who was a simple farmer that could defend himself and his. Most only remember people like Erik the Red. And they were from such a harsh land that they needed tough gods and ways to keep them strong, if that makes sense.

Author's Response: I'll tell simply because if anyone reads this and goes 'OMG! I go there!' I wanna meet up with other TH fans lol. But yeah, anyways, the uni is called McMaster. I loves it ^^ Tova slips in here and there because she's a woman. I hate to say, but the Norse were a very male-dominated society, so other than making babies, making dinner and cleaning, a woman wasn't as important.

Very taken w/ your story though a bit confused.
Ok, so to recap. Tom's town was attacked by an unknown army in the middle of the night and then...? They just vanished? Where'd they go? Wouldn't they just head off to pillage the next town? And what was the point in the attack?
Also, Tom's married, 18, and has a gay lover? And his wife's ok w/ this... nice of her.
There's something fairly ominous about the ending though... oh dear.
Author's Response: Ok, yes, Tom's town was attacked. The army didn't just vanish, they went off elsewhere, but we aren't concerned because the story isn't about them lol. Attacks occurred ALOT, and many a times had nothing to do with the actual town, it was more of the urge to raid sort of thing. And yes, married at 18 isn't too bad, even if Tova's only 14.... And well, she doesn't have much of an option in a male dominated society...
