While I would have loved to see an update for your other stories I'm excited to see where you're taking this one, I'm already very intrigued with this first chapter and can't wait until we finally get introduced to Bill. I also really like that you've made Tom (and Bill?) older than they are in most stories.

OH, I love this already. Tom is one of those already weary of the world rock stars and he drinks/fucks his life away until something comes to knock him upside the head into a sort of reality he can live with or else! Maybe, who knows, but I am loving this so far and that awkward moment between Tom and Bill just left me all blushy and feeling awkward too.
I wanna know who Bill is now! XD

Oh my, I think I get Tom's problem. Yeah, it sucks but not as bad as the next one, I think. So their first meeting wasn't fabulous. I'm really interesting in Bill's character, since you wrote just enough lovely imagery of him in this chapter to whet our appetites! Can't wait for more!

Oh! This is so nice! I've been so excited about this one ever since you mentioned it on twitter, and I'm thrilled! This is really well written, and just... wow. What's wrong with Tom, though? I'm trying to figure out why he's so destructive (smashing his guitar, crashing cars and what not). Is he having a mid-life crisis? Or, is it something different?
Anyway, I'm hooked already, and look forward to the next chapter! :)

This is a really small, dumb detail, but I like that you made Tom 29. In most stories, the twins are teenagers and it seems unrealistic that teenagers can make such big decisions and all that, y'know? Also, because you put in the two genres, I feel like they're gonna be twins in this story! :p
