I have to say, this is the longest fic I've ever read (and I read it in one afternoon too :p ) but I really loved it!! I have to admit though, that I was a bit disappointed when I understood they were twins in this fic (sorry, but I have a thing with not-related lately) but it is still an amazing fic!! :)

I took my sweet time to read this, but I'm finished eventualy. That was a nice turn of the events, Tom tearing the letter, even if I'd have prefered he delt with being Bill's twin.

I really liked the end-and the best way to satisfy both the twincesters and those who'd prefer to pretend they're not related at all ;)

This is soooo very exciting. At first I was dumbfounded as to why you would include both genres - related and non-related twincest but then thought that they could be long lost brothers and I see it actually happening!
But from the beginning - I love the setting of the story - it is so different and yet so familiar - with Tom being a scandalous rockstar and Bill some cute little travelogue writer, lolol. I like this a lot, and how the plot is evolving, still staying drama-free despite all the troubles Tom's difficult character is going through. I mean, it is not a deep angst fic, it's a light one to read, enjoyable to no end with how you present the exotic setting and a posh and carefree life on the cruise ship. I was trying to count how much Tom has been spending but gave up on that, realizing that it's really really expensive lol. The money not being an issue in this story makes all the attention drawn to the character development, as well as gradual discoveries.
Tom is such a jackass in the very beginning, but Bill is turning him into a better man with his wise life-solutions and views. Of course, Tom is still scared shitless about what he is turning into under Bill's influence - whether it's intentional or not - but it's nice to see their romance bloom with every day.
Even when Tom fucked it up the first time it was sweet, no matter how much I wanted to kick his ass; but Bill found him again and was so hilariously patient with a densehead Tom that it truly reminded me of an old-married couple. It's sweet and funny at the same time, no matter how deeply Tom is stuck in his reserved world of lowlife and self-hate that spreads onto others.
I love how insistent Bill is - and bold even - when it comes to saving their possible relationship. I was so endlessly surprised - just like Tom - when Bill kept promising of wonderful nights, because it's not something I would have expected from a young man whose heart and dignity was broken a year prior.
But that's when the specialness kicks in. I really have no idea how much Bill knows or suspects or doesn't know, but their actions tell that they have been searching for each other and now that they have finally met, they are drawn to each other in some weird way. I can already guess what the way is - them being brothers, twins - when people notice that they look alike, and even when Tom feels discomfort the first time they have sex.
I am surprised it doesn't bug them as much, but then I remember that they are thirty years old, they are grown up men who are cynical enough to not pay attention to such weird "coincidences", no matter how curious they are.
I still want to smack Tom for having thoughts of just enjoying the pleasure Bill's body provides him with, but in this latest chapter I just read it seems that he really wants Bill in his life. It's so cute and precious, and I just want to hope that he doesn't fuck it up one way or another.
But heh, I can see that coming - given what they are (or, well, might be) to each other - related brothers - that I definitely see him freaking out big time. I wonder how you have written all that - them finding out, and I wonder how they had been separated in the beginning. Perhaps Bill was living with their father, whereas Tom was with his mom and step-dad - that could be the option, but such a cruel one. Because thinking of the little twins being separated breaks my heart. And now, seeing this cruel twist of ironic fate, them coming together in more ways than normal brothers should - it's a bit bitter and sad. But then again, maybe it will grow into the most special thing ever. Because Bill is so good for Tom. And despite Tom being a huge dick, I believe he can be good for Bill too. He will be able to show it eventually, and will make Bill the happiest person in the world. At least I believe in that. Because Tom and Bill, they should only have one fate, no matter the story plot - to be together and happy.
