I don't think the kits have a problem. Kids usually have one or two best friends. I think its totally normal especially since they have each other.

Author's Response: He's a good friend to them. Also, I think he's young enough where the taboo isn't completely ingrained and he doesn't really understand.

First off, that was a very heart-wrenching chapter. The flu is terrible; and to see it in a child... -.-
So hmm, it's like Tom absorbed Bill's illness and then it dissipated within him. Did the same thing happen when Bill healed Tom's leg? Or was it just straightforward healing?
Author's Response: It's just awful, you feel so helpless! And...Bill's illness was a bit more complicated; Tom had to understand the illness to do anything about it. So, different but similar techniques?
