I've mentioned this on other reviews: I came into the TH / THF fandom in Jan’22. The vast majority of fics I've read are quite old and I'm sure the authors have moved on (and probably wont even see new reviews), BUT I figure why not leave one anyway… I enjoyed this fic and wanted to say thank you for writing and sharing it!

Omg, wow. Just--wow. I don't usually review because nothing coherent every comes out when I do. But I think now, I at least had to try.
I really love this this, I really really do. It is so (bitter)sweet and hot at the same time. I'm really fond of a lot of parts in this story. I liked how Jost would go to Tom because he was 'the one person who could cure him, mend him, paste him back together' when Bill was so broken up to the point that people other than Tom can notice. I love that part that mentioned the G's not asking about their intimacy not because it wasn't considerate to do so but because they simply had no questions to ask. I love that part where Tom thinks about finding that 'perfect' girl for him and how he has given up trying to find that someone who could replace Bill--because he deemed it far too impossible already to even attempt to. I love how protective and concerned Tom is of Bill, thinking about his best interests more than anything in everything--be it with a simple sandwich, Bill's strong hairspray or in making out--even if it hurts him. I love that bit about their lying, about Bill lying about wanting, about Tom worrying if he was his brother's problem. I found that ironically sweet? I don't really know why but I know that I really love it. I like how Bill is the one who pushes Tom away not only because Tom is doing the chasing for a change (as oppossed to most fanfiction I've read) but also (much more) because I imagine this possible going on in reality, to have Bill hesitant and confused about something too far from normal. I love the short descriptions/comparisons about Tom fixing Bill in the past and how they complement what's going on in the story so far. I love that part about their souls and how Tom liked to think Bill's needed his back. I love how Tom felt so rejected when Bill looked at them--not that I enjoy Tom's crushed spirit but I really liked how Tom cared so much. And the way Bill dismissed all his fears in one honest look and answer melts my heart so much, I don't think words can capture what I felt when I read, reread and read this part again and again. As for the ending? It is beyond perfect, if that is even possible. I love how you portrayed their give-and-take relationship so wonderfully, the way they both needed each other for different reasons but just as much as the other did.

That was...absolutely breathtaking.
The metaphor of a cracked wall was just, God, so perfect and well-written. I adore stories like these, the ones that really pull on your heart strings and make you think about the twins, their lives, their hardships. Go angst! Haha.
They're real people. With real problems, big ones, too. I loved how at the end you didn't end with the classic "I love you Billa." and "Oh I love you too, Tom!" scenario. Bill didn't explicitly return Tom's words, but you gave us hope for the future, even though it was pretty clear that Bill loved Tom in return.
I mean, how could you not? I am in love with Tom's caring, protective, big-brother persona when it comes to Bill.
God, I just can't even express how wonderful this was. It's hard to find such a powerful one-shot like this buried in the site! Thank you.

That was both beautiful and hot! I love it when the twins are portrayed as tense and stressed - it gives a so much more realistic image to their "characters". Great job on this one!

hmmmm...i getting a feeling that Tom is the only way to fix things...
Something Bill really give people the feeling that he doesn't eat,but there there are so many skinny guys out there who are skinny too..but they just dont get the attention that Bill gets B-)
Anyways, great job. Loved the sad feeling you create. It moved me.

Beautiful. I especially liked where Bill couldn't get relief and was frustrated to the point of tears and begging Tom to take over.

This story is one of my favorites of yours. Its so powerful and full of emotion. I even liked your use of the cracking wall as a metaphor for Bill, and I HATE metaphors >>
What struck me the most about this fic is Tom's deep, deep love for Bill, brotherly or otherwise. I love how self-sacrificing he is, leaving his own enjoyment to make sure Bill is taken care of. Its such a beautiful concept. He and Bill both know its this vicious circle thats just going to happen again and again, but Tom is there every single time.
The sex was great! *_* I loved how bad Bill wanted it, especially where he said he wanted it to hurt a little bit. I was like "awwww yeah." It makes me so wish I was a gay man. XD
Overall, it was a very beautiful piece of work. Very sweet and passionate and heart-wrenching, all at once. I especially loved your use of the word devestating in here. Its a great word that can only be used the way you did in rare circumstances, and the way you did it was perfect!
Keep up the fantastic work!

So you're a talented writer, that's for sure, however I wish this story had more plot and less... vagueness. That might have ruined the effect of the story tho, so nevermind me. It was a good story, a bit melancholy, but good. Thanks for writing. :)
Author's Response: I sort of know what you mean, but when i intended to write this, i hadnt wanted it to be all ~deep~ it just sorta went there on its own, and this is how it came out. After i knew what i was getting myself into, i realised it was going to be very melancholy, as you said. Very sad, but also a hopeful ending. They are not unhappy. ^^ Thanks for the review! :D

Oh wow, this was really, really amazing *_* I love your writing, it's just so good!
And oh, that last paragraph was so beautiful. Somewhat bittersweet, seeing as Tom is the only one to see it, but wow, it's really touching, in a way. I love how you started with the strong descriptions and then went into the storyline. You have such a way with words, it seems like every single word you picked had a special, specific meaning that made this story so unique and great. The ending scene was written so well, because it was sweet and meaningful. Like real, true love. Ah, this was amazing. Keep on writing your awesome stories ^^
