I feel like leaving one of my old, classic, long-ass reviews~~ You're the victim, whoo~~ XD
First: I'm both shocked and simultaneously, very glad to see an update on this story. :) I understand, I mean I've disappeared over the past year, I've had some hard hiatuses I wish I didn't have to take from writing because of my horrible, chaotic and messy RL. ): We all have our RLs, which comes first, whether we want it to or not. It would be so awesome if this story could see updates faster though, it's okay if it isn't possible on your part though, as much as it sucks for a reader.
I recently re-read through 7 Days and Nights and then this, to get reacquainted with the story. I'm happy to see some improvement in your writing, I realised you used to switch tenses quite often before. XD Now not so much, which is good! I hope this doesn't come off offensive, but in the beginning, I thought your story was strictly comedy, erm that is, over-dramatic to insane levels purposely, to be funny. I'm still not sure if that's entirely right or not? That being said, whether it was or not, this whole plot... the characters, they just make me laugh. I mean, you must be a very fun and dramatic person to hang out with, because your characters are very, very colourful, and even if the events aren't always entirely realistic, there is a lot of heart put into it all, and that's enough for me. :)
I think something that adds to my amusement is your use of caps, versus italics; when people like Andreas speaks in this story (I think I've mentioned in a previous review how much I love your portrayal of Andreas), and you use caps like you do, I just see him being so over the top, practically screaming out his obviously very important opinions, it really makes me giggle. Whenever caps are used, it's all very cartooney, and things seem to be light hearted. I don't, again, know if this is your intention, but it is not necessarily a bad thing. It's kind of endearing, actually. :)
Question; how is it that Teddy suddenly understands English? XD He is conversing with other children as he hands out candy, so I found it a little incongruent. Still, cute things he says. :) Overall, your dialogue is definitely your strong point in this (and it's prequel), and I continue to enjoy how totally outlandish it is sometimes, but also very cute as well. Some people hate the made-up nickname 'Billa', but in colourful AUs such as this, I find it doesn't bother me.
Overall, I'm looking forward (as always), to see how this progresses. It would be awesome if the chapters could come faster, because I'm always curious to see what happens next in any story I enjoy, and I'd love to see what comes of the situation involving Tom and Drew. I know though, you probably have a very busy life, so don't sweat it too much. :) Thanks for the update, and hopefully we can see more soon!
