Bill is such a bitch but it works really well with this story. I think if it had been him being all sad over Tom, it definitely wouldn't have worked out and I'd have stopped reading the story. And Pete's right -- Tom did make an impact on Bill because otherwise he wouldn't be talking about him still ^^

Ooh, so they don't like each other. And the reason Tom wouldn't talk was because he couldn't. That's sad ;___; And it sucks that they both see each other as ugly [though Tom sees Bill as ugly inside and Bill sees Tom as ugly outside]. I like Bill being a diva, not really caring much for Tom. It'll just make it all the better when they fall in love x3
And the part where you described Tom's feelings about people giving him looks of pity was really good, too. It made the whole thing more...real? I don't know, it kind of gave insight into what Tom was thinking and didn't make him this pitiful boy with a messed-up face :]

Oh, even though this was short, it was terrifying. I like how you started with how Tom got hurt instead of starting with Bill having to do community service. It kind of gives the reader more sympathy to Tom because you described how he felt in the accident.
