I don't really review that often, bu I just had to for this chapter. The imagery was gorgeous, especially your descriptions of the jewelbirds, and I could easily immerse myself into the scenery you created for Neverland. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Oh, oh, oh, this is so magical, I love it so much. *_* Jewelbirds and rainbow pythons and stunning vistas and flying together on the strength of sweet twin-kisses. But Tom's drawings, oh, those poor darlings. It's always difficult in these stories when they grow up without each other, but always such rewards when they find one another. ♥

This is lovely! Perfectly acceptable as a substitute!
I really like the small touches here, like Tom not realising he's taller now. It's wonderful that he still remembers everything (like how to navigate his way in the caves) even though he's changed so much physically! He's got the best of the both worlds now! At least on those accounts. I love Bill's enthusiasm over everything. And I just really, really love the tone of this whole story -- it's so warm and humorous and sweet. Like Bill's question, "Isn't being eaten more... permanent?" Hee!
I love Bill singing to Tom! And how he feels different about the songs now that Tom's by his side. *happy sigh* The little moment they share by the drawings is touching. It's so bittersweet -- on one hand it's awful that they were separated (and poor Tom not wanting to forget his twin!), on the other hand it's just lovely that they're together now, and Bill can hug Tom and comfort him.
Yay for alone time in the next chapter! I love how Bill is pretty much completely focused on that on the beach before he realises that there are more pressing matters to take care of, like getting somewhere safe. *g*
Author's Response: Thank you! It's just so happymaking and easy to write that I wind up drifting back to it if I'm sick or miserable. I'm glad that you feel the tone of this story the same way I do - it's sort of my ideal world, where everything's magical, and a bit funny, and it all works out in the end. Also, y'know, twinfluff. ;)
I know; it pains me to write about their having been separated for so long, but in the end, I think, it'll make their bond even stronger. ♥ And more, um, alone timey. *cough* By the way, I'm glad to see you reviewing on here!
