Biiiiiiill, you're such a brat! I really wanted Tom to not let go, as Georg advised, and I was frustrated at him for going limp, so to speak. But I was pleased when finally, FINALLY, Bill made the overtures that got them there. ♥ Sweet dense boys.
“You have me,” Tom countered, holding tightly to Bill’s chin, keeping his face firmly angled towards his own. “You have me to keep if you’ll just quit pushing me away.”
YES. *heart flutters madly* It was a rough road but I'm glad they got there.

I have to admit, I kind of hated Bill in this chapter...he was just being so unreasonable! And poor Tom, having to deal with it the whole way back. Glad Bill changed his mind, even though I'm not entirely sure Tom should have forgiven him. I'm looking forward to the epilogue, though!

Jeez finally, Bill decided what he wanted. I love the fact that Tom was firm with him and finally got him to admit his feelings.
“This isn’t a game to me, Bill,” Tom snapped. He dropped his bags and stepped forward, away from the door and closer to the younger boy still leaning against the archway from the hallway into the living room. “You think you can just keep playing this game of tug of war and I’m going to stay around like some pathetic little puppy? Because I’m not. You can’t push me away and then try to reel me back in every time you get scared that I might actually leave.”
“I’m not…it’s not a game to me, either,” Bill frowned, looking down at his feet. “I’m just really bad at this kind of thing.”
Tom dropped a heavy sigh into the air and pinched the bridge of his nose. When he dropped his hand from his face, Bill’s eyes were fixed on his, wide and worried. “What is it you want from me? The God-honest truth.”
“I don’t--” Bill started, unsure.
Tom stepped forward, even closer to Bill, pinning him to the door frame and standing so close that they could breathe each other’s breath. Tom’s nostrils flared. “What do you want from me?” He asked, again. “Because what I want is to be with you. But what I don’t want is to keep getting pulled around because you’re insecure. So, what do you want?”
“I want…” Bill started, looking down at his feet until Tom tipped his chin back up so that their eyes would meet. Bill licked his lips, nervously, and cleared his throat. His voice came out as a whisper as he continued, “I just want you.”
“You have me,” Tom countered, holding tightly to Bill’s chin, keeping his face firmly angled towards his own. “You have me to keep if you’ll just quit pushing me away.”- Absolute favorite part.
