When I first saw "m-preg" as a genre on this site, I swore I'd never read it. It was just too weird. This story, though, for some reason, just kept popping up in front of me, and I gave in and read it. I am so glad I did.
The character development and emotion throughout were masterful. It was sweet, sad, funny... And so incredibly realistic. I can actually see it happening. None of the characters did or said anything that I thought was off or too "perfect world." For example, Bill bribing the doctor not to tell anyone about his relationship with Tom. A lot of people, I think, would avoid that by just having the doctor be so understanding and seeing love as sacred and who-is-she-to-intervene? Your way of dealing with it made so much more sense from a real-world standpoint.
I feel like I'm just rambling now, but you probably get the idea. This is the kind of writing that I aspire to. It was a joy to read. Thank you.
