I'm terrified now!! The thing about horror movies is that you don't usually care about the characters, but I am very much invested in what's happening to Tom and Bill!
Excellent job drawing on primal fears - the utter creepiness of someone coming in not via break-in, but when you're around your house doing normal things then hiding away. The rhyme was very effective, too. And I'm going to be on the edge of my seat for Tom until the next part is posted. ;_;

Omg, this is sooo good!
It's quite hard to make something genuinely scary just through writing, but you've managed to do it so well.
I also really love the relationship between Tom and Bill. I mean, I'm a big fan of intense fluff, lol. But you kind of know it's exaggerated and enjoy it for what it is. But these characters feel very 'real'. Which I think makes the whole thing even more intense.
Can't wait for the next chapter. Poor Tom! That was one hell of a cliffhanger o_O
