This is right now my absolute favourite fic, so the next week will be difficult without updates. There's is nothing I don't like about this, but the scene with Bill, holding on to his little pendant really made me go all teary eyed. This poor thing really has nothing but the clothes on his back and that ratty pendant. I hope this way he and Tom will be able to connect, they are both increadibly lonely only Tom is man enough not to be able to admit it to himself. Also, I have my theory about where this is going. I take it no one has been on the other side of that wall for centuries? Well, if Bill is going there, and Tom is about to fall in love with his, I guess he will go too, maybe on an expedition with his soldiers and they will find out that life is flourishing again there and so the world is habitable again. how about it? I may be totally off the mark, but at this point, it seems logical.
Anyway, I'll be waiting for the update like you can't believe.

I bet Bill is playing Tom, telling him that 'intercourse' produces magic when in actual fact Bill can do magic regardless ;) clever Bill getting free love. I could be wrong though! Lovely chapter ^^

This just has me on the edge of my seat when I read it. The tension between these two is palpable, and I cannot wait to see how this story continues. I love the world you have created, along with this captivating creature.

I really like that Bill actually talked because now instead of a sexy prop he’s an actual character. Not that I didn’t totally love him being a sexy prop. So what in the world is it about the wall that make the air go thin? Or is it something else, maybe something more sinister, other then the politicians keeping everyone in the desert and keeping the best part of the world for themselves? Was there some kind of smart bomb that went off and you can only breath it if you are special like danachi? I have a lot of thoughts about this wall. I think it’s much more important then just a wall. I kind of love that the magical creature is named “Bill”, it’s a funny juxtaposition of normal and exotic. I’m glad we got some info out of Bill about danachis but I’m not sure we can trust it 100%. What I wonder the most is why Bill is staying with Tom. He seems to be able to get out of the shackles, enough to change clothes. Why stay with Tom? If he needed “energy” he could get it from one of the others on the base and be on his way. Is there something special about Tom? Is there a reason why he’s staying? Hum?!

Love it, Love it, Love it. Sooo addicted already! You have a fantastic, descriptive way of writing. I actually dragged out reading this chapter so it would last longer!

I think I was as surprised as Tom was when the danachi ate his meal and started talking normally, lol. So interesting how he claims to be able to turn the appeal on and off. I'm curious about the extent of his magic now too--this is so good!

I like that it's not just about sex, though really that's the main reason I read fic. But this is much more. I'm so glad to read it.

This is refreshingly original and really really intriguing! I can't wait to see how things will develope and see exactly what this magic is. I also enjoyed seeing the more "human" part of Bill in this chapter :)
