OMG.. ok .. I´m going to try to express all my feelings with my poor english. First, this is such an original and amazing fic that I´m completly speachless.. let me tell you that I´ve never write a review in my life.. but I felt that I have to tell you how amazing writer you are, I felt all the emotions that you wanted to transmit.. even the "good stuff" (oh dear god :D), the history is so interesting and so..intelligent!.. and very very sweet..I cant erase the smile in my face :).. omg I want a danachi..NOW!! *drool*.. well.. congratulations.. it was a incredible history and I cant wait to read all of your fics.

This was such an amazing story. Omg I've never read anything like it and i enjoyed every bit of it. The only thing that was hard for me was Gusti dying and Georg being portrayed as the bad guy. I love my Georg but this was still a great story. I waited to read the whole thing before commenting.

Wow this was a really intense chapter and story all together. Umm I don't know if it was edited or something but the summary of the story clearly states that there would be non con and its up to the reader to continue. And also you have the warning at the top of this chapter. I don't know how long ago it was that you edited because I realize that this story is old, but I really enjoy the whole plot and can't wait to read the last chapter to see what happens.

So. I just read all the chapters and I must say that this was great.
I really like the intensity of when the Rabies infected man came to the base and how infection spread only days later. The Coup d'etat wasn't expected. At least not between Georg and Tom. I clearly forgot about the rape that was mentioned in the warnings.
All in alll I say this story was a sucess, though I do feel like it ended just a little bit like I am legend. I can see your plot coming from two movies but the desert was a great setting for isolation. I wish the story delved more into the boy's past to give it extra spice. I was thrown for a loop when thhe mutiny struck. My initial assumption was that the rescue would come and attempt to take Bill, leading into the running up north.
Your dramatization was awesome and it made me think far too much for the middle of the night.
But shouldn't all great stories keep you up at night wondering.

Oh my god.
This story was so beautiful, but besides so gloomy it made me shiver. This armageddon scenario created by letting your protagonists live in the lone desert was really scary, and there was always this eerie feeling as if I myself would be standing in the desert surrounded by infected people and helpless, totally on my own. But you always managed to balance this fear by showing this careful and yet so powerful relationship between human and "alien" building up and getting stronger. The end was just beautiful and it was the hope for an ending like that which made me read the whole night. Besides, your fanfictions are so helpful improving my English. So I'm pretty fascinated by now, though still a little bit frightened that some vampire could immediately enter my room wanting to kill me. But in case, I'll just walk through the wall. ;)
Now, I want to apologize for all my language mistakes and to commend your story once more.

I've started this fic yesterday and it was painful to stop from time to time to do other things. I mean, I've felt totally drawn into it, like I was there.
I absolutely loved every line of this story. The way it was written, its characters (above all the sweet danachi and the brave Tom) and all the mix of emotions it stirred.
I can tell you for sure that the only other time I'd been so enthralled by a story was when I read "The Talisman" by King and Straub.
I know, this fic is totally different but your skill conveyed the same emotions.
And about sex... Well, the danachi needs it to survive but the plot was so well structured and expressed that I clearly felt it is not all about it.
The outstanding message speaks of true love, trust and acceptance of the other.
Well, I'm afraid I made a big mess instead of a coherent review, but I'm still under the spell of this fantastic, awesome masterpiece.
I can't summon up proper words to say what a fantastic writer you are^^

Remnants' glory can't be described with any words that I have in my limited vocabulary but i'll try:
astounding, surprising, staggering, breathtaking, remarkable, spectacular, stupendous, phenomenal, incredible, unbelievable, and jaw-dropping. That is how I feel towards this story. The plot, like I explained to my friend (who is currently reading this) is beautifully and intricately planned which makes you literally screaming for more. Those few seconds that it takes for me to drag my pointer to the Next button, click it, and wait for the page to load, are filled with a such strong and powerful excitement for the events that are about to be unfold. Your vivid, alive descriptions made me feel sucked in the story and every scene flashes across my eyes as if i'm watching a movie. This captured not only my attention, but my heart. *applauds*
