Shit! All the way around, shit! Infection on the base is awful! I kept planning for the worst. Who and what else has Andreas touched? Who else is infected? They had some semblance of safety before they were exposed but now who knows who's infected, what he touched. How long does infection last on a surface? 24, 48 or 72 hours or is it indefinite; laying dormant until it finds biological matter?
I'm kind of pissed at Bill still, not because he tore apart Tom's bunk but because he hasn't told Tom anything about his race/species. Tom doesn't know what's normal, what to expect, if they pair for life, if they survive of sex, if they love or whatever. Bill holds all the keys and Tom has to assume everything. It's very true that Tom could ask but he doesn't even know where to start, what to ask. He didn't even know if danachi eat food how could he know what to assume. Why wouldn't he assume that Bill was with him just for the sex and not for any other reason? Bill hasn't exactly proven that he's in it for anything other then the sex, food and protection.
