I could see why Tom would let Georg talk him into believing that Bill might be able to save them, but he knew that Bill couldn’t. I’m sorry he can’t I wonder if Bill and Tom are going to have to abandon the out post in the wreckage of infection? Will everyone die?
I wonder if Bill is starting to love Tom. Is that why he’s staying? Why does he love Tom. Bill is being so evasive. Does he think that Tom can’t handle his reasons, his beliefs, the knowledge? *pulls a face* He might not be able to?!
I so love, love, love this story. It’s a lot of my absolute favorite elements all rolled into one; survival stories (you against the elements, edge of the world and trying to survive), horror (infection, monsters, science gone wrong), T*cest and an interesting unique storyline (so many are recycled and totally unoriginal, gets old fast). Thank you for being original Em!

Goodness, this story is beautiful, I don't know how you do it, or even if this measly review can express how wonderful you are for writing this.
The base is falling apart, Tom and Georg are at odds, Gustav is becoming sick(No!), and Bill defending his entire race against Tom, is a lot for one chapter, and all of it together just seems so desperate and hopeless. Its all horribly sad and fantastic at the same time.
Love. That is what danachi were made for. If I can say, that had the potential of becoming extremely cheesy (as in love is the thing that will save us all), but it won't and the way you portrayed it was gorgeous. I love how Bill gets so defensive when explaining everything to Tom. It definitively feels like a reaction someone would have when their entire race has been mislabeled and enslaved for so long.
And the backdrop you have staged against this conversation is so perfect. The burning bodies creating a red twilight as their world goes further into chaos; Bill hidden behind a scarf as he talks about the danachi, but when Tom finally learns about the purpose of his race, he is able to see Bill for the first time.
We just can't escape the inevitable sense of doom this story has in every line, but through all the dread Bill and Tom have managed to found each other and even if their moments are sparse and fleeting, the impact they will have on each other will last forever.

Ok, so, Gustav has the virus, yeah? *sigh* I'm hoping not....
And I think Bill is in love with Tom xD I think that, despite needing sex, he was missing Tom so desperately that he couldn't contain himself. OH! Or maybe because he's in love with Tom, he NEEDED to have sex with him, like he grew to need it on a daily basis and with Tom gone for however long it was, he was going crazy from love and lust.
*sigh*
I don't know; I'm dying for romanticism lol.
