Haha, this story is becoming SO sci-fi (or maybe I should say syfy xD). Have you ever seen this show/ movie called Tin Man? It's like a modern day Wizard of Oz and the feel is totally....I don't know if I'd say noir...but, I get the same feeling as I did reading this as I did watching that show.
But, this going soooooo greatly, I can't wait to see what happens next ^_^

I really did find myself tearing up here because of this chapter. Good god, that is what I was afraid of but i'm glad they showed Gustav mercy; but the raw emotion between him and Georg. Ugh, it was gut wrenching having to read that I wasn't sure if I could. That is what a good writer can do - literally make a person FEEL and honestly, you are so good at it. I'm a little reluctant to know what's happenin next but dammit, i'm sucked in so i'll wait anxiously

Poor Gustav, but he was right though. I would choose the same thing than turn into such a monster and attack my friends. Fucking kill me, try and save my friends if I can help it. That's the most selfless thing to do for a friend and the most justifiable selfish thing to do for yourself.
I loved it and I didn't expect anything else from Gustav. XD
I feel sorry for Georg, because there goes another person close to him that he lost. It doesn't/didn't matter that they fought half the time, because they both knew that underneath it all, they were friends.
I hope Tom is strong enough to bear more, because I have a feeling that there's more coming and this was just a continuation of more casualties to come.
I hope Bill is there, to help him and never leave him alone.

Why don't they wear the protective masks to mask themselves from the smoke from entering their bodies? The smoke that is littered with dissease? And you describing that their eyes burned? I'm throughly confused... unless this is a part of the story, and meant to be like that...?

Author's Response: The burning eyes is just a description of how it feels to stand in a really smokey area where stuff is getting in your eyes- it isn't anything to do with the virus.
