I just sobbed all the way through this again. I have a love hate relationship with your stories. You write about things and relationships that I never read. Its a testament to your skill that I read this at all, let alone again. But its soo beautifully written. You do such a fantastic job. I am excite to read the next one again. I don't think it was finished the last time I read it.

I was very conflicted about reading this; I didn't want to read about Tom's death but I knew this one would be good. I'm glad I read it! It was amazing!! I can't even count the times I cried while reading this..It was so heartbreaking! Gosh, my SOUL aches..It was great!!

I should have reviewed it earlier, but I forgot, I'm sorry because you do deserve it.
I've been a passionate reader (on this site, TH fiction) for a long time and suddenly I quit. I've been without it for months now and I really missed reading fiction here. It's another world out here and it's so freaking awesome, so I went back... And now I'm here, reading your story after all these months without any stories at all. It's beautiful and amazing. Obloquy belongs to my top stories. I've never read anything quite like it. It's such a delicate subject -the dying of one of the twins- and I'm very sensitive, so I already cried a lot. But it feels good, I love reading it. You've done a good job with weighing emotions and actions and how Bill reacts with his special mind. It's overwhelming and intense, but it's not absurd which is a good thing. I am positively surprised by something like this. I'm glad that i still have so many chapters/stories to read still. I have one question though: the sequel to Obloquy is What Patience Earns, but is King of Kingz the sequel to that one, and Abschaum the sequel to that one and at last Counted Blessings the sequel to that one? Is it all continuing on the same story Obloquy, Tom dying and Bill starting a life with Bushido? I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks!
Author's Response: Oh no! *runs to respond before it's too late and you're scarred forever* WPE is the sequel to this and that's the end. This story is meant to break the reader down and get you to that low level Bill is on, WPE, as depressing as you might think it will be, is meant to build the reader back up and however you relate to this story, it will make you 'heal' in a way. At least that is how others have described it. The other stories in this series are separate, merely in a 'series' because they all have about the same subject matter of ripping away the only life Bill has ever known and replacing it with one not even he knows he can cope with until under pressure. King of Kingz is its own story, Abschaum and Schick Mir Einen Engel being side-shots to it (and Tom is very much alive) and Counted Blessings is, unfortunately, abandoned at this point, but has nothing to do with any of the others. that was the most tearful story I've ever read!
I cried my eyes out. they look like tennis balls. I've cried during every chapter. unbelievable. :(
oh..god.. I'm so exhausted. I need a relief just like Bill. my whole body ache from all this pain.
I really admire your strenght to write about this and the strenght you gave to Bill. I don't think I've been able to take it on his place.
first I thought that you'll just kill Tom and he'll never return to the story, but Tom's helpless as a guardian angel was the most heart-breaking. :'(
I wish Bushido to see Bill's smile again. he sacrificed his life for this little kid. this is just pure love. he's a perfect man. I hope you rewarded him in your sequel. ;)
but now.. I'm not sure if I am strong enough to read next part. I need a little time to breath normally again.
