This looks very interesting and very promising. Though, knowing it's not going to end so happily makes my heart hurt :( Especially when I read the lyrics of the song...Oh well, this seems like it could be a great story, your writing is very whimsical and your descriptions great.
Bill seems like an interesting fellow, I want to learn more about him. This is sort of like an intro, so there's not really much to say but that this sounds like it could turn out nicely. I'd like to see this continued, definitely :)

Well, there are 2 possible directions the ending could take, and I'm still deciding which one it will be, but I guess we'll see as the story goes on, whatever I think fits best with what happens.
