I loved the little talk, but I'm wondering why Tom thinks it's serious enough for Bill to know (or not know, w/e). I mean, it IS Tom's business, and has pretty much nothing to do with Bill at all >.>

I'm glad you liked the talk, and i think it's because you're looking at their relationship as how it's portrayed on THF. they have no secrets, blah blah blah blah, but here, it's not. Tom has his secrets, and this is just one of those things where he knows he SHOULD tell Bill, just in case smt happens to him (s&m stuff), but it's personal and slightly embarrassing. plus, it's smt he thinks he can handle alone.

Author's Response: *breathes sigh of relief* you know, no matter WHAT I say in my chapter/story notes, I am WAY more worried about my portrayal of Tom (I'm used to writing him as an asshole or a super gay cafe owner xD), so this review from you made my night.
It's hard writing him as someone who is looking to be controlled, and a not making him seem weak from the beginning and b. not mixing his character up with Bill's.
