I wish you and your family the best. My thoughts haven't left Haiti and its people since the earthquake happened on tuesday. We have close family friends in port-au-prince so we were all worried (they're ok). In fact, my dad was on the last flight out of the country before the earthquake so it seems to hit even closer to home. I hope you all the best and my thoughts will remain with Haiti and all the wonderful people there.

I understand what you're going through. My French teacher at school is also Haitian. He keeps us updated on what's going on for him and who he's lost. My school today did a funraiser for him to earn money to help his family, then Tuesday -no school Monday- we will do another funraiser for Red Cross. I plan on donating as much money as I can.
