I think it seemed confusing because it was so emotional but I understand it.
This.....is defintely not how I thought this chapter to go.
I feel bad for both of them, but, I'm really surprised by how Bill's pushing Tom away but, I can understand how one's mind would not respond normarlly when one is in a lot of pain like Bill is.
I'm interested to see if they'll REALLY end up at their mother's or if Tom will start driving and end up pulling off to the side of the somewhere to talk.

Oh my gosh....starting from the forth paragraph to where Bill woke up, I was tearing; poor Tom but oh my gosh! Bill! AH!
