Ally: I actually picture her as a brunette. A natural one with like...red highlights. And average height, shaped like a ballerina (tall and flat) and with really big pretty eyes. Also I always picture her wearing a blue sweater I have no clue why.

1) I realized something as I read this chapter. The sentence that Tom was trying to finish in the previous chapter... it wasn't to warn her to be kind to Bill because he was madly in love with her, it was to warn her about his potential feelings and his meetings for/with Adalyn! Tom wasn't trying to protect Bill, he was trying to protect Ally! He only pointed out HER feelings for Bill, only mentioning that Bill looks happy (and not necessarily because of her). All of my happy dissolved like a teaspoon of iocane powder.
So... Barbie never really left; Bill just never felt like mentioning it to Ally. But still -- why would Bill be all lovey-dovey with Ally if it's that case? I know he has space-issues (as in, recognizing that they exist), but kissing is like... an entirely different thing. What if Adalyn ended up just being a friend on the date because Bill spilled about his feelings for Ally, and now she's trying to get them together -- hence the invite, with or without Billy-poo?? I don't know, I'm just throwing things in the air now.
2) I was so pissed and hurt. Poor Ally; will her Genie EVER appear and help her naked twister fantasies become a reality?!
3) It's made Billy into a huge-ass mess, that's what's happened. Bill kept his ongoing relations with Barbie a secret from Ally -- how did he THINK it would turn out?! Stupid boy -- if Ally had any sense at all, she would just like... um... disappear or something. Take a teaching job in some other German-speaking country and escape the insanity of loving Bill. There are too many games and secrets and too much ridiculousness.
I just hope that Tom and his huge forehead can shed some light on this issue.
4) I'm too upset to picture them. Just know that they're pretty, but not overly pretty. I hate perfect protagonists, lol.
5) Just work through the writer's block. Maybe meditate on the issues that are bothering you? Don't make lists, as lists are overwhelming. Plot-point out the rest of the story and brainstorm little scenes to take one chapter to the next. Then go from there. That's what I do *shrug*.
