That was exactly what I thought, you know. Georg dead and Gustav's soul gone. I think that Gustav's life ended and that he just started all over again, 'cause he loved Georg to much to stay behind. So he kinda chose to lose all his memories, 'cause he knew he wouldn't survive the pain and guilt without Georg... *sobs* It's so beautiful...
Author's Response: You kind of have the right idea, it's like, the person Gustav once was, the person he was when he knew his parents and lived in his house, the person he was when he loved Georg, that person died in the carcrash along with everything he ever truly cared for, since there was no way he would have ever been able to survive with the knowledge of what he'd lost... But his body survived and it's like his subconciousness developed this whole new personality to inhabit the empty space the "real" Gustav left behind, the one that died with Georg (hence the title ;) ) It's really a pleasure to discuss all this with you, and get a different point of view of my dabblings, I hope you know that! :) Hope you'll read some of my other stories as well, you might find them interesting too... <3 Chris

In my universe (anyone is, as said, free to interpid it anyway they like) it was Georg who died, and Gustav who lived on, never remembering true love... Really glad you liked it!
