I had a mini panik attack when I read this chapter. My throat closed up a little and my eyes started watering. My mom pounded me on the back and forced me to breathe out of a paper bag.

Aha. Thank you for the explanation. It might have been better had you included that a bit more in Tom's thoughts in the story but I'm not going to badger you over it because it's good already and I don't want you to have to rewrite. Just keep it in mind for next time that sometimes things are unclear and you have to think like you're the one reading the story, okay? :]
It's really okay, you don't have to apologize for not having a chapter up xD I hate it when people comment me telling me to update because I'm like, "I'LL UPDATE WHEN I WANT TO". So yeah, Don't worry about that.
I liked Bill's note in this chapter. I liked how it was kind of like a movie because it flashed back and forth between the note and Tom running and having thoughts. It was sweet, especially the last sentence. The only thing is that I'm having trouble deciding for myself if he's sorry because he fell in love with Tom or sorry because he feels that Tom hates him, or what. But that's a reader choice and will probably be clarified in the next couple of chapters :]

Author's Response: Okay, good :) You're welcome for the explanation. Yeah, I find it easier to write from Bill's perspective so Tom's can seem a little lacking sometimes. But thanks for thinking this story is good :) I will definitely keep the advice in mind, though :) Lol, I know the feeling, especially when sometimes I just lose the will to finish the story and I let it crash and burn...that only really happened to a few, though....Anyways...Thanks :) That's what I had in mind when I did that, that it would sort of flash from what he wrote to what Tom thought of it and how he's running to save Bill, fighting the pain all the while. Thanks :) That'll be clarified in the next few chapters, because...well, I can't tell you what happens, but Tom will get an explanation and so will the readers, through him. The thing with it that I can tell you is that Bill is sorry that he fell in love with Tom because it was something he couldn't control, and it was tearing him up inside because as much as he wanted not to love him, as much as he wanted to hate this boy who was hurting him, he couldn't help but love him. He believes that Tom would rather see him dead than alive, which is why he left Tom his note. And thanks :) I love the banner too, Lrigrl offered to make it for me and I was like, "YES please do!" And it turned out awwwwesome :)

yes you knock some sense into Tom literally and emotionally. this was great way to start his transition and poor Bill always has a special place for Tom in his heart and felt wrong for outing him. hope Tom saves Bill from suicide. and also want to see what his goodbye letter contained.
Author's Response: yep, that's the plan....thanks :D yeah, he does. sometimes you can't control your emotions, no matter how irrational they may seem...sometimes it's more like your emotions are controlling you. The contents of his suicide note will be in the next chapter.

You're seriously going to tell me I just read this story and suddenly you want to leave it at a cliffhanger like that? Jeez. Of course that would happen.
Hmm. I like this fic a lot. The only thing I don't like about it so much is that you made Tom so susceptible to what Bill feels. Like, whenever he was beating him up he was thinking about what it felt like. I'd have rather Tom be hard and callous toward him a little longer. But that's your decision, so don't worry about it.
But yeah. This is not a nice cliffhanger to leave off at 0.-
Author's Response: i'm sorry :( I'll update ASAP!!! and thanks :) Well, it might be unclear, so let me clarify: for a really long time, he does feel very callous toward Bill. He couldn't care less about the kid: he'll kick the shit out of him and have fun doing it. But when the story starts, Bill cries for the first time in years since he's been beaten by Tom and the others. This is a first for Tom, seeing Bill cry. So it kind of throws him way off emotionally. So the next few times he starts to wonder what Bill actually feels, and then he actually gets beat up and realizes, "Oh crap, this is what we did to that poor child every week for years, no wonder he hates us all." He's very hard toward Bill up until the last few times he beats him up. So...hope that clears it up. He hasn't been so susceptible until just now. And sorry again about the cliffhanger...I promise to update as soon as I possibly can, I just need to finish up the next chapter before posting.
