What an amazing, wonderful story! You have such a way with words.
I loved the premise of the story. And I loved loved loved how you developed the story line by mixing present events with past recollections. The final product is so powerful!
You did a wonderful job showing just how incredible the relationships between Bill and Tom are. I could literally feel their pain and joy. You made me cry more than once.
In short, what an incredible story! It will stay with me for a long long time. Thank you for writing and sharing it! It's brilliant!!!

Like the idea. Like the plot (sci-fi 4ever!). Like this scheme of constantly interrupting flash-backs (very emotional and touching). Like the extremely powerful bond between the twins (envy them, in fact:)). Like the atmosphere, mood and empathy that struck you at ones.

I've had this on my queue for a while - afraid to read it because the idea of a 7 year separation was a little depressing. But knowing how excellent your stories are, and the fact that I am a sci fi geek, I delved in. A couple of chaters back, there was a faint hope in the distance, a small idea forming. They haven't really been separated for nearly a decade. The jumpspace that Bill is in has the effect of a time warp. So, for the audience, at least, the worst part of the story is distanced, and B&T have only been apart for less than a year. Although Bill might be getting some fine lines around the eyes....well, he'll still be hot.
Love the story. So extremely well-written. Thank you for taking the prompt and putting your own little twist on it. You are one of my faves, adding to the talent that brings me back to this site again and again!

This fic stuns me with its brilliance and absolute breadth of scope as it did the very first time I read it. It's so, so good. This is the story of an incredible life, a pair of joined lives, and I love it so much. *~* It makes me a soppy emotional mess but also awed at the power of your writing. Breathtaking, beautiful, and definitely perfect. :)

I feel a great sense of satisfaction with this ending. They are happy, together and have all that they need. I like that they are going to work their way up from the bottom that will let them earn their place rather then it being gifted.
