Oh my poor Tom. It's not bad enough that Bill is gone but he has to go through all of this questioning and evaluation. It must be just as hard on Bill to be so far away and not know when he will be in contact and for how long. I do so much love the flash backs and real time transitions. It gives us back story while keeping with the present happenings as well. I love Bill and Tom's relationship and how you have interpeted them as people. Tom is ever the protector and more grounded as Bill is the dreamer and free spirt. It also interests me about their connection as twins. This is something I have always been in awe of. I love the exploration of this and it is so well done. Thank you and please keep going.

Oh gods, this is horrible and yet really really well written, you have no idea how much I have fallen in love with your story even after so few chapters. And yet so much has happened without managing to have missed the details that make it so real.

What an engaging story! I was hooked from the very first chapter and I can't help but squirm in anticipation for the next chapter. You've painted such a vivid picture of Bill and Tom's relationship that's touching and believable. Bill and Tom both have their own distinct personalities that are well rounded. I think my favorite moment was when they were being confronted by the Navigator and Anchor Herschel and Tom was simultaneously trying to hide and keep Bill hidden. I also really enjoy the flashback interludes. I know of a few stories that do something similar but they don't work nearly as well as yours do. They give the story depth and insight into the twins' history. Well, marvelous piece of writing you've got here, can't wait to read the next chapter.

Oh wow I can't believe this. This is so so so so amazing! :o
You can't imagine how long I have been searching for good stories on THF, growing desperate for some good writing and ending up re-reading older stories. But I stumbled upon this one - a completely new one - and was completely swept off my feet.
Your writing is so good on so many levels - you've got perfect descriptions, characterisations, and mainly - plot. Oh, also, all these AU details about space stuff - I am not a huge fan of Sci-Fi and have no idea about most of the Sci-Fi things anyway, but the way the story goes and reveals all those details about their surroundings or machines and schemes, the laws even - I am completely fascinated with all of this. And you write it so good, putting in the perfect amount of description for those who aren't familiar with anything.
The twin relationship in this story is amazing, too. Even though you have put a NC-17 rating, there's none of that (yet?) in the story and event though I was expecting for some more graphic scenes, I was surprised to realize I didn't really crave for the graphic details, because the way you write them - accentuating their mental bond and leaving the physical closeness in the background - is so precious. Sure, they are intimate with each other - but you write just the right amount of it, leaving all the rest to the reader's imagination. I love all the mental description of their affection - even when they are apart they still can feel almost physical touches - you write those beautifully.
And lol, for some reason I am delighted to see so many characters, and it made me chuckle in some places - like the Kasimir Greatship, also Saki's role and all the rest, I found that quite humorous but in a very very good way, of course.
Gaahah, I am so hooked to this story, and I hope you ill update soon :)
