YAY!!! Tomi is going to find his Bill :) God I'm so scared for them though. I really hope Tom can find Bill and bring him home safe. I can't even believe he can wait a week even to prepare for such a mission. Tom must be so full of stress and emotion to get out there to find Bill. I'm so glad he has such close and trusting friends though I feel he will need them terribly through this and their support is going to be more then needed.
Author's Response: Tom is definitely way stressed, and the rescue mission may not help with that right away... we shall see. You've been very perceptive in reviews before, if I'm remembering correctly. All I can say for the moment is that you're right, Tom is going to need all the support he can get until he and Bill are safely home together.

Brb, flailing excitedly over here. ...I adore how much initiative Tom is showing here, how loyal everyone around him is proving, and how committed Grigori and Alexei are to helping, the darlings.
The flashbacks are even more poignant now, when in the present we only have Tom, with Bill trapped in jumpspace. ;__; Poor darlings. It's these continual tastes of what they've lost that is absolutely gutting me.
I'm so pleased Tom is bucking the prompt and going out and taking care of business! And continually, utterly delighted with this story, just so you know. ♥
Author's Response: Yes yes! Once Tom resolved to go after Bill, there was no stopping him. ;) I'm glad Alexei and Grigori are working out in this fic; they're actually origiverse twins from a very different setting, but they fit pretty perfectly as a Greatship pair, I think.
Also thrilled you're still enjoying this one! ♥ I love writing it, and I'm going to miss it once these next couple chapters are done.

agh! this totally made my day, and that means A LOT considering my day, lol, i really needed this. Despite the undertone of despair, there is so much hope in this chapter, i absolutly loved all the flashbacks to happier times. thank you. I patiently await your next update.

YES!!! That's it Tom!! Take matters into your own hands :) Although it might not be the best thing to do I have a feeling it is the right thing for the twins. Tom can sense Bill and there for maybe he can find him a bit faster. I don't know but I think it is the only way. I'm nervous as to the condition that Bill will be in though. I don't know if I'm going in the right direction but I just have a feeling the ship went through a lot more than thought and there might be more blows for Tom when he makes contact with Bill again. I could be so wrong and everything could be totally fine but i just have a feeling.
Author's Response: Probably not the best thing to do in some ways, but you've got it exactly right: it's the right thing for the twins. Cannot comment on the rest of your review because that would be a spoiler, but definitely keep an eye out for the next couple chapters! I intend to finish this fic by the end of February, so. :)

I think this chapter was fantastic. There was so much negativity and drama and hurt in the previous ones that it was a nice break to feel spirits lifted again.

This has to be one of the most beautiful twin bonds I've read. Even though they are light years apart, they're so together. Beautiful.
Really love the whole Greatship pair idea. This is only the second fic ever when I've thought 'this could be a film'.
