The emotional toll this must take on these characters. :P Absolutely terrible.

WOW! So at least Tom knows for sure that Bill is alive but when he connected with Bill for that short instance they learned something. If Tom tries to hold onto the connection with Bill is fights Grigori and Alexei So now it would seem that Tom and the others have to find a way for him to hold onto Bill while not getting tangled with the connection of the other twins. I would think that if Tom can feel the pull of the other twin's bond then Bill must have sensed it as well and maybe that is why he cried out at Tom... No. If Tom and Bill's connection interferes with the other twin connection then Tom's ship could be traped in jumpspace as well, am I correct? Sorry this isn't really a review but me trying to piece together things in my head but this was really a great chapter. The flashback with the little notes from Bill made me want to cry and when Tom made contact with Bill and lost it so quickly I think I was crying. I feel so badly for them. That fear in me that something is horribly wrong with Bill is still with me but maybe I'm wrong. Cant wait for more.

omg, -intears- omg. -sniffles- my heart just breaks imagining myself in Tom or Bill's Place, having to go four months (or more) without my other half, and then FINALLY having them but only for the short span of a few moments, gah its so heartbreaking, and yet soo, sooo sooooo close to being a happy moment.
I really enjoyed this chapter, despite it making my cry (which really hurts, lol) it was beautiful, and the whole monologue from Tom about what he planned on doing, guh that broke my heart too!
all in all an amazing chapter. thank you so much for updateing.
Author's Response: I know. Gah, it's heartwrenching for me, too, whenever the twins are separated, whether I'm writing it or not. Really glad you enjoyed it, anyway, especially Tom's little confession tape. I was sniffly while I was writing that one, but it turned out just the way I wanted it.

Another heart-wrenching chapter. The scene with Tom recording his...well, his confession was...ouch. Very difficult! Ugh, oh no...is this going to set them back by a lot of time? *thoroughly engrossed* I'm going to be jittering until the next chapter is up!
Author's Response: He can't help blaming himself, poor darling. :( It just might set them back, and Tom will have a hard time forgiving himself if it does. Ah, the confession, yeah - I was telling Lena this one was a painful chapter to write, and it was mostly because of that scene. Ouch, I know.
But the next chapter will be up soon! Tom's getting closer to Bill, and this fic is getting closer to its end...
