Oh God I bawled and bawled and bawled again. Seriously, that's all I could ever hope for as a reaction from a mother, Simone in particular. My heart aches and yet it is a happy ache once again. I have never re-read a story so soon after reading it but yours just makes me happy. Yes, I am crying and they are not fully happy tears but I am happy. Love is so hard to find and god your story is so beautiful. So so beautiful.

Right after I read the first sentence I knew I had read this story before, like long ago, so I went back thru the reviews to check if I'd left one and I was surprised to find that I must not reviewed. Very sorry about that, because I definately remember this story, and I liked it so much that I read it again just now. :)
LOVED Simone in this one. You made her a very good mother, a very realistic one in fact for twins like Tom and Bill. And it's funny that you dont see the twins, but you do get to know them from their little notes and toothbrushes and childhood stories, it's so cute and well-written. Very well written. You've told a lifetime in a one-shot with one character and it was amazing. There were so many parts that stand out and make you gasp along with Simone as she's peeling apart the layers of what the twins must really be for eachother... like the pic on the fridge of Bill sleeping in Tom's bed!! Man, that was like BAM! lol. Poor Simone, but I'm so glad she ended with a smile. It really did put a smile on my face too becuz the twins really did get their happy ending w the big house and the cars and what-not.
