this is one of the best oneshots I've read in a while, mine included xD
i love the INTENSE use of description, allusions and metaphors, because they made the words heavy, hard to move and easy to believe.
it was like reading a love story through the ages with all of this confusion and despair, love and lust, all wrapped up into a few thousand words.
it was never too much in the sense of, if you sit down and analyze is, all the questions that you find yourself asking near the beginning are being answered at the end, and you feel the same sort of resolution as Bill feels when he tells Tom, in German, that he loves him.
this was simply moving, and i do hope to see more of your stuff ^^
