I didnt' mind the rushed ending so much. I took it as an epilogue of sorts.
But the beginning could have been streached a bit more i think. Bill finding Tom, their little conversation, and Tom's weakness to being rushed to the hospital, it all seemed so abreviated.
It was a really good story, i liked it a lot, but maybe a little more detialed would be better :]
