rnbasically yes a female must have a mate (though that doesn't mean that the mate has to be male...) for her to fully change...as in for her (and him) to gain the extra powers and such that Georg was talking about....but not everyone necessarily mates in their life...they're just not as strong as the others....(and yes women can mate with women and men can mate with men)
