Not sure about the too late thing. Is it related to when they hit youko puberty? I can imagine human parents freaking out if they find their twin kits having sex with each other at age 8 or 9 or something... ;-) I've got sex on the brain lol so i'm probably way off lol.
Author's Response: The "too late" really has more to do with the twins getting attached to The Trumpers...the youko want to spirit them right away! Luckily it's an honest pair of youko who aren't going to, um, kit-nap them in the middle of the night.

Oh man :-( I hate what Bill is feeling and I hate how Tom is feeling too. I was forced to call another woman 'Mama' when I was 6, just over a year after my real Mama passed away and it was hard. My sister was only 3 and didn't understand :-( I wanna hug the little kits.
I took a break from the series cos I needed some PWP one shots and short fics ;-) Now I've had enough of those and I'm back with cute and fluffy with some smexy ;-)

Hehe, not so secret fact...a lot of the PWP one-shots and short fics happened while I was working on kits because I, ahem, needed the outlet.

Okay. I'm working my way through. It's so interesting to see young kits! I love it. The youngest I remember was Kyo, but we didn't get tons and tons of info with him. Also, I'm starting to worry about the Bond. I'm not entirely clear on if twins can Bond with each other, but if they can and tye time comes and they have no idea what to do? I remember when Kellarion (probably spelled that wrong) didn't do it and it was bad. OMG. I should not be thinking so far ahead. Also, are the twins mindspeaking at all? I thought that all Youko could do that. I could be wrong. Everytime you bring up Stronghold, I get mixed feelings. I don't think they'd enjoy it very much. I remember feeling trapped when I read about it. It's a lovely place but not for free spirits. I think they'd get bored.
Sorry, that this comment is getting ridiculously long. I've been holding back on commenting on every chapter. Quick question that is going to sound dumb. The kits have only one set of ears, right? The fox ones? Also, what time is this set in? Like before Willow Key or more Swept or a different time altogether? Just wondering.
Back to actual reviewing. I'm loving all the little things you're doing with this fic. I also like how you're starting to seperate the twins. Having Tom want independence but being nervous about it is alarmingly adorable. Also, I'm glad you didn't pack them off with the Sattles, it's going to give the story an interesting twist as they get older. I don't think Simone is of the mindset that "if they're old enough to want it, they're old enough to be doing it."
One last thing. You brought me all the way back to Willow Key when you mentioned theiving Youko. Immeadiately i was thinking of Ria and his hijinks. I love you so much for this 'verse. Off to finish more now.
