Author's Response: oh, the interwebs are the same for all if you know english, cause I haven't watched regular TV news for ages. But generaly Easter europe is a damn bad place to be, news wise, cause news from America comes in just as slow as the news from Asia and I, at least, need both to survive.

I thought you wrote this well - it was very powerful - but I think it was probably too much of a traumatic experience for the final line to completely work as you'd have hoped. It might've been better to write more about the recovery, making it feel more finished for the reader, and then put the line in when emotion levels were less high. That said, you had some really great description in this and it was like I could feel the fear and the heat as I read.
