Oh I loved this. Tom's protectiveness made my heart warm but it also killed me how he thought he was being a burden to Bill :( I hope the twins will never ever ever think of that about each other.

Damn, woman. You take my breath away. Sometimes I think that I come to the end of a story like this or "Fire and Ice" and I look up and I'm literally shocked by where I'm sitting because I've been sucked so hard into the story that I forget I'm not there, where they are, watching the events unfold.
I want so much to quote you lines, things that stood out for me, but there's no sense in it; I'd be quoting half the story. The atmosphere is so heavy and I swear I could feel Tom's tension and guilt and Bill's exhaustion. I'm going to talk myself in circles here in a moment, so I'll shush now and tell you I thought it was just wonderful. Thank you so much for this.
Author's Response: It's funny you mention "Fire And Ice" because I re-read it the other day once, and then twice, and then a handful of times. And despite all the mistakes I caught, I think I've decided that that one is definitely my favorite. It's a huge compliment, though, that you feel like you get sucked into their world...kind of like a fly on the wall? I love that. And I love that you enjoyed this one and that you could feel it. That's all I can really push myself to do. =) ♥

THIS is what I love about the twins. Tom thinks he's doing it to protect Bill, but Bill knows himself how he feels most protected. He can't go far or do much without Tom backing him up at the end of the day and I love that, because I truly believe this is their RL dynamic.

Let me say you something here... Don't you ever stop writing this wonderful angst you're doing everytime, okay? You do it so well and it's always a pleasure to read it from you. Like this time again.
About this fic... This was so sad somehow. The first half made me feel so low and desperate, sob a little. Other half was too, but in the end it turned out to be okay and made me a little happier. Very hard fic to read mentally, once again. I wish they just wouldn't hurt each other.. Damn, I wish THE WORLD wouldn't hurt them like this. You are one of those authors who can put a pit of sadness in everywhere with so tiny choises of words and thoughts. I admire that skill.
I find this topic quite close to me at the moment since I'm writing something distantly same kind of thing right now. It revolves around burdens and obsessions. But now.. I guess this put me under a lot of pressures now :D. So yes, nice fic. I liked it :).

awww n_n so sweet, it was like a great amount of angst in the beginning and then happiness/hope (if hope is the right word to use) at the end.

That seemed so true to a certain extent. And idk, it seemed the perfect comeback/thing to say. So yeah n_n this was such a sweet oneshot. Now I just need to listen to the song and read it together :)
Author's Response: I think happiness and hope works to describe the end. And I thought that was a decent comeback, too. And I hadn't even realized how true it rang until I'd already written it. wow. I loved that. and honestly I have nothing to say apart from wow. because even though this was a one shot, it packed in so much emotion and passion, that it was almost like reading a diary.
