I was refreshing the recent fics and saw this and gasped excitedly and everyone in the room quickly said "What!?" And of course I said, "One of my favorite WIPs got updated! Just to let you know. ;)
The scene where Tom begins to ask Bill if he can keep him forever, and Bill first assumes Tom's going to tell him it's a one-off and Tom has to hold him close...it brought tears to my eyes. So beautiful, so much love.
The lovemaking was fabulous. An absolute joy to read, and scroll up a bit, and re-read. I didn't want it to end; I found myself re-visiting several paragraphs before the scene was over just to try and prolong it!
And the ending, of course, left a big happy smile on my face. Beautifully done.
I hope Bill gets to meet Tom's mom some day! ;D

Darling boys. This is a delight, as always. It was so sweet to see Bill's shock (dropping the paring knife!) when Tom told him he'd promised to bring him back to the hall that very night. All of the little cues with the two of them reluctant to leave one another were impossible to miss - yet going right past one another! Tom is such a darling prude; averting his eyes from the Can Can and then trying to appreciate the athletic accomplishment of it made me snerk.
Bill's scene as Amalia was beautifully portrayed. I could see Tom tumbling into love there, and Bill's telling glance was a pretty clear indication of his own feelings. ♥
The kiss - the kiss! How wonderful, what a lovely conclusion to the chapter, and I very much look forward to more kissing with these two. You don't need any more regulars if you've got a Tom, Bill! *hopeful eyes*
Author's Response: Hee, thank you! They're certainly darlings, but also a completely obtuse pair of dorks. And poor Tom. The high kicks were just too disturbing for him.
The entire music hall scene was my favorite to write, I think. Tom gets snapped right out of his denial, and in the next chapter there will definitely be even more kissing! Though we shall have to see. Will Bill give up his regulars? Will Tom ever take off his trousers in company? Will Georg be envious because Tom's wife is hotter than his? (Yes, I'm just purloining your end note format here. I'm horrible.)
