For a minute, I didn't know what you meant when you said that there are no such things as black panthers... but then I realized that an ACTUAL black panther truly does not exist, but there are black leopards and jaguars xD Took me a minute... Anyways *-* I loved the chapter. I think I melted at the end xD I really love Tom's character in this story, though I feel like he's a very mysterious person O_o And I like it... lol

I finally got around to reading this story that has been sitting in my bookmarks for such a long time now. That's different from what you've done before but I love this story nonetheless. I just love your style and characterisation anyway, so I think I'd like anything you could write ^^
I wonder where you're going with this story and I can't wait to know what happens next.
Somehow, I feel Bill will turn back to his granny at one point or another. The poor woman only has Bill left, he can't let her believe he's dead.

I love the progression between Bill and Tom this chapter.
Maybe they are like soulmates or something, which would explain why Bill reacted to Georg's bite differently from how he reacted with Tom.

that I love that!!! I tried telling my friend that the air can smell like snow. He told me that the air can't smell like anything, let alone snow. My attempts to explain were fruitless, though lol. But I'm glad to see that other people can smell snow in the air, too ;)

This story is pure love, and steinsgrrl always talks about you in such great ways, and I've been dying to finally get into this story!!! And now I'm one happy Fish. I see now, how I should write. Not like you, per se, but I see how you've managed to eliminate all of the "and thens" and "before hes" and "a little bits" and have made your sentences so much more smoothly than mine.

I'm usually not into the whole fantasty genre, but this story is so wonderfully unique. You write so WELL. I'm very impressed.
