Lovely chapter. I can see why Tom would say that to Bill at that time, though he wouldn't normally, just to get him to go away or something. I really like how you stated that Tom normally didn't cry, since there are a lot of fics out there (possibly mine included) where he or Bill burst into tears at a moment's notice.
