First, got to say I absolutely love this story and I hope you update soon. ^-^
Second, I love the fact that I can envision all of this. My Aunt lives in Brookings, just over the border in Oregon. And in May I was up in Crescent City on a two week long camp trip with my family and best friend. Went out to the Battery Point Lighthouse, went to the aquarium on a rainy day (seriously don't see where you say it's great though...), and all sorts of other awesome things. Even went by Del Norte High School a bunch of times when we managed to get ourselves lost while trying to get to Wal Mart. ^-^ So, thank you very much for the wonderful visualizations and writing.
