Awww. :( Really, I thought his mother had loved him as much as he'd loved her, but as I can see now she maybe preferred Tom to him..? I still wonder how Bill was able to gain all this fortune to build this huge place if they were so poor before... and well, I just hope his life gets better. :) Can't wait to see where it goes!
Author's Response: I didn't mention how he got the fortune and I most likely will not because what I really want to focus on and what I want the readers to focus on is the emotion and character development of Bill and those around him. I purposefully edited that part out about how he got where he is financially, but if you are really wondering I'm sure you can come up with a feasible conclusion on your own. (:

I love the feeling of seclusion and loneliness you've painted in this. I genuinely feel sorry for Bill and the life he created for himself. I'm really enjoying this story so much and I can't wait to read more about the gates!
