That your space is my space thing reminds me of my OH. No matter how big the bed is, he always ends up on my pillow! Good thing he doesn't snore otherwise I'd never be able to sleep with him practically in my ear lol.

Hmmm I had 6 sets of twins in my year in grade school and all of them got separated into different classes. My school was huge though and my year alone had about 400 kids.
I want more naked twins! :P It's all good. Can't believe I'm only at the first story in the series. I'm dying to read Appetite too but it's not finished yet... Any ETA by any chance?
Oh lol and thanks for not mentioning their naked tendencies in your youko cliff notes. It was a pleasant surprise!

Mmmm don't think they'd ever need or want that second bed. Definitely loving the kits. The tail swishing is adorable and reminds me of my godson who turns two in May and his mum put him in a kitten outfit and you should have seen his face when he discovered he had a tail! I think I just about died from the cute. And youko kits with tails swishing in unison is love :-)

Youko cliff notes. Hoboy. This is hard. I haven't completely revealed everything to my readers yet, but there's a whole mythos and origin stories in my head. Youko are a race of beings derived from humans, but they went in a different direction. They have very naturally-based supernatural powers, including flesh-shaping (meaning healing, minor shape-shifting, or both). At least in the beginning, all members of their race possessed flesh-shaping; now after hundreds of years of evolution, it's limited to the more powerful members of the species. They are typically born in pairs. Youko have the ability to "Bond" with humans who have powers, and produce full-blooded youko offspring with them. Male youko can produce offspring from their bodies through a mechanism unknown to humans, if they're Bonded or their powers are strong enough. Also, youko twins' first sexual experience is always with their twin.

This story has magic attached to it, I swear. Did you get the kits to charm it or something?
I was supposed to do homework today, but instead I have been reading this entire story, from the first sentence to the last. In one day. My grandma isn't pleased, but I don't have any regrets.
This is so incredibly well written and I love this world you have created and shared with us.
Not to mention it actually made me cry. Like, can't see the words anymore through my tears, oh God, where are the tissues, cry. It is just heartbreaking.
I am really, really tempted to start reading the second year, but I know I wouldn't be able to stop reading it and I would probably pull an all-nighter. Which I can't really afford to do right now, so I can't.
Tomorrow, I'm going to have to excircise some major self-control and get my homework done before I start reading again.
I still love "From the Inside Out" the most, but this is quickly becoming my second favourite. And I haven't even really started getting into your other stories. Something tells me you are going to become my favourite author on this site. You're just awesome.

awww, I feel bad for Simone in this, I can just Imagine how I'd feel in this situation, wanting to smoosh them and make it all go away, and all better, but not being able to. this was a really good fic once I could sit myself down to read it. I've tried several time and just couldn't get through it, but I think it was because I kept running across it at like 2 am and trying to start it then, and it just wasnt working. I'm definately into it now though. You are awesome. I'm off to read the next installment.
