LOL !!!! This chapter made me laugh so hard! I could just picture the twins and Andreas covered in mudd and laughing. That was so cute and then later when the 2 beds were brought in. Tom sweet Tomi he can't imagine not being with his Bill. A wonderful chapter and I really really can't get enough of this story.

I think Simone and Gordon are being a bit mean forcing them to give up the bed they are most comfy in.
My brother and sister are twins. They're 12 and they still share a double bed!
"Tomi," Bill hummed under his breath, "I have mats in my tail." Unspoken was the assertion that Tom's help was crucial to getting rid of them.....
Aww that line was sooo cute :)

Reviewing! I'm wanting to squish them again. I adore that there's more elements of them behaving like children coming through as they settle to normal life - it balances the fact that they're smart and advanced, etc. perfectly. And, of course, the photo shoot of the twins covered in mud immediately came to mind. I also feel a little sorry for Simone and like her better again, simply because she's trying her best and there are the fundamental differences between humans and youko.
Also, yay for me finally being caught up - on THF anyway! I'll try and stay uptodate now. Oh, and did you have a preference for here or LJ? You may have noticed that I comment wherever I happen to be at the time...

Yes, they're finally starting to get into mischief again, and they'll behave quite childishly at times. *grin* Oh, the mud photoshoot was definitely solid inspiration for that scene. I couldn't help it. But it's also such a BOY thing to do, playing in mud. Hooray for being caught up! Now it's my turn, to catch up to reviews. This made me giggle; I adored the humour of the exchanges between Simone talking to Gordon and the kits interrupting from the living room. The fact they were getting up to mischief like any normal kids was also awesome. Can't wait for more ^_^

LOL That was so funny! I could just see the paint spread all over the place and Bill and Tom covered in it. I could kind of see the prejudice thing coming though. They are different, but different is good so I would hope that not everyone sees them as outcasts. The neighbor lady seems to like them and Andreas doesn't have an issue with it so at least thats some people in their favor. Lets hope this mean lady is in the minority in this. I do love this story as it is and I hope to see more silly things happening with the twins. They're too too cute. Update soon.

They will encounter prejudice, unfortunately, but Simone will always stand up for the kits! In their community it really will usually be the majority, but it's impossible to avoid a few of the jerks. Thanks, I hope to keep the adorable shenanigans coming!

Still, I'm glad Simone is treating them so well. It's nice that she understands when to leave them to be alone together.
