I finally got around to reading this after a few friends recommended it--it's awesome! I love how well-thought-out your youko race is, and how you're fitting it into the twins' behavior. I can't wait 'til the next parts :)
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so pleased you're reading it, and enjoying it! I am really enjoying this project and I'm utterly thrilled that it's been so well-received. Thanks for your review.

Grr mean older boys! They need to leave my sweet kits alone. And I'm glad Simone approached the Tom issue with Bill. Poor Tom is a time bomb.
I so wanted to see what Kas' reaction was! Bahaha. Love this story to distraction as always. :D
Author's Response: Older boys can be evil. Alas, they will likely never leave the kits alone! Something that beautiful and different always gets beaten down - or there's an attempt to. There is a general consensus that Tom is a time bomb! I'm a little worried. Thanks for your review, and continued readership! =)

Bill and Tom are such sweeties in this. I love the picture in my head when one or both of them flattens their ears or swishes their tail. The poor things. Most of their life has been spent together with their parents and just the two of them. Holding hands for them is just normal and now they are getting teased about it. I feel so bad that Tom is not showing his emotion about things and I know Simone is correct when she says it will come out when he least expects it and when he doesn't want it too like when he bit her. I feel next time will be worse, but I hope he can get through this without too much damage done. This is yet another wonderful chapter and I hope you update soon:)
Author's Response: I'm pleased that comes across as a strong visual! Yeah, this was a scene that popped into my head early on when scripting the outline. It's so baffling to them that anyone would think it strange. Thank you! I hope to update very soon.

I love the Bill and Kas stuff, it's so adorable. :) Love this, as you may know already!
Author's Response: I just can't help myself, it's definitely a running sub-plot. The poor kit is probably going to do a victory dance when he catches her, will scare her off, and have to start all over again. Thank you, I am so happy you love it!

eeee, getting so close to... something! I can feel it. loved this, and I loved when Simone skritched Bill. I could feel it too, it sounds amazing.
Author's Response: Woohoo, glad there's a sense of anticipation! Bill finally got up the nerve to ask for skritches; he's definitely warming up to Simone.

Aw, I think the image of Little Youko Bill chasing Kas is so cute! Happily awaiting your next update!
Author's Response: He keeps trying. ;) Thanks, I'm pleased you're enjoying! Next chapter should be up soon.

AWESOME!!
*pets Bill*
I melt everytime you write that his ears are plastered back on his head.Makes me think of little sad kitty.
There will be some times one of them will do things alone. They just have to have a common understanding of that. But they are too young and they are going through hard times,so it's confusing. But I think time is all they need. And then, they will understand that those little things they do without the other does not mean that their twin bond is losing strength, that there is no need to feel lonely because these are little trivial things. These little kits are driving me crazy because I want them to be real so I can squeeze them tighly in my arms till breathing becomes hard and their eyes pop out.Okay, that sounded creepy XD It's to say that i love them very much ^_^
Thank you for the chappie,it made my day.
Author's Response: I never want anyone to forget about the ears and tails! ;) Glad you like. You're right in that time will help a great deal. Understanding and not being hurt during that differentiation process is a difficult thing. I actually have a twin for my beta-reader and she says I'm doing a good job with the psychology of their steps towards becoming separate people. Which is awesome to hear. I'm so glad to hear you're so wrapped up in the kits! I feel the same way, I totally know where you're coming from. (Not creepy at all.) I'm pleased I was able to make your day!

Those poor kits are probably so confused. They've never been apart, really, so how could they possibly hope to understand that sometimes it has to happen?
Lovely chapter.
Author's Response: Exactly right! They truly never have been apart. That's the problem with being raised out in the middle of nowhere. Thanks so much for your review.

Author's Response: They'll get there! =)

Bill was a teensy bit selfish here. I mean, it's okay for him to ditch Tom, but not the other way round?
I feel all worried for Tom suddenly :( As though he's gonna get hurt.
*frets*
Author's Response: It's more like Bill realized if he could pull away, so could Tom - and that's really not what he wanted after all. ;) I, too, am worried about Tom. Despite my best intentions (and the fact that I have an outline) I still feel like there's a blow-up on the horizon.

Gorgeous chapter. I liked the balance between Bill initially pulling away to make friends with Caitlin - being more rational - and then seeming to realise Tom could pull away too and panicking a bit. It was a nice way to underline that Bill wasn't really trying to put distance between them at all. Hope all those other fics don't chew your time up too much!
Author's Response: You really put your finger on it! A couple of people, even my twin friend, called Bill a bit of a hypocrite but it was more like you said; he realized that if he could pull away, Tom could too. I am trying to stay on top of this fic and keep to regular updates! The last chapter of year one gave me a bit of a struggle. =) Thanks for reviewing!

Uh oh. They are going to have to be able to let eachother go long enough to be team players, but I totally understand Bill's and Tom's feelings of not wanting to. Just that little bit of seperation during class was a small step, but it will come in time. Tom isn't ready to let Bill go but Bill is willing for a short short time. They're learning and they've come a long way. Update soon:)
Author's Response: Yup, but it was a new and scary concept for them. =) Some day they'll probably be able to get on separate teams and actually play against one another (maybe even a little too gleefully) but they're not at that point yet. ;) I hope to update soon! Thanks for your continued reviews, I really appreciate them.

the twins make me melt into a puddle of mush, they are so adorable. i love how their different personalities are showing so clearly, even though they're practically one sometimes. You've captured that perfectly from the very beginning. That last sentence put me off a little though, I don't want to think about them hurting and it feels as if something bad is approaching...
I've been updating the recent-page way too many times the last couple of days, every time hoping there'll be a new chapter lol. so i almost squealed when i finally saw an update! thank you! a perfect ending to the night =D
Author's Response: I like to think about everything being idyllic forever, too, but alas. They do have to grow up, and growing apart is part of that. Darling kits.
I hope to have more for you, very soon! Thanks so much for your continued reviews, I really appreciate them. =) So happy you're still excited for updates and I will try to write faster!

Author's Response: Yay for an update! Just published. LOL, I'll have to start a countdown just for you. "X" amount of parts until the next milestone...
