I'm incredibly glad you chose to go with non-explicit. I think if you hadn't, the scene wouldn't have fit.
On that, that is without a doubt one of the most poetic love scenes I have ever read, if not the most.
And of course my condolences for your grandma. I'm sorry for what she and you had to go through.
