I thought the blood flap was SKIN taken, not muscle
Also, after a surgery like that, you need to lie on your STOMACH not BACK....my ex boyfriend had one.

This is one tough journey :( I can so relate to having a family member go through something sorta like this but not so severe. The not being able to move on your own and stuff. It can be very taxing for all involved :/

I was in the hospital for a long time, about...2 or 3 months....and had to go to rehab for my hands and arms.
Author's Response: Are you a quad? And did rehab help you? I hope it did, because the things I will talk about in the next chapter are all about Tom's stay in rehab. For my brother, whose life I am basing this story on, rehab was hell.
