Ok first thing's first.
Amazing! i was grinning like an idiot the whole time.
everything was just perfect.
At first i felt sorry for Gustav when he said that they took his wife and kid.
But then the last line made me think that he was up to something and was just using his position as Bill's pet against the twins.
That whole Georg scene made me shiver.
He could feel his eyes on him, something only years of being tortured could bring.
Even the way Bill looks at people can be deadly *sigh* it is.
Corrine is such a bad ass!!
i wish she was an actual person.
No matter how bad she acts you can still see the little girl in her.
The scene on the couch with Jonathan was really cute.
Her beating the bad guys!!

So much action in this chapter that I was not expecting at all. I'm glad we finally know exactly what was going on with Gustav in H&HW. So happy to see Georg reenter the picture, if only for a little cameo. Poor man is probably better off dead. But you can tell he didn't learn anything from Bill. Still treating people like he can manipulate whatever he wants out of them.
Now you've got me wondering about Dunja. I'm hoping it was just coincidence that she had the night off on this particular night. And who sent those guys to the twins' place. Is it in any way connected to Gustav's employer, or maybe it has to do with the bank robbery again. I almost forgot about those guys.
Great chapter. Corinne is a doll, and Jonathan gets props for thinking things through better than she does.
